preserve和reserve 的区别

reserve比较常见，是指为”留作后用“的保留、预订,可指保留座位、权利、意见等等。
I phoned to reserve two tickets.我打电话订了两张票。

preserve则不光是只保留，还强调保留下来收藏，使东西完好无损,侧重“为了不至于灭绝、损坏”而进行的保护。
